Morris-Jumel Mansion and Sylvan Terrace, Washington Heights, New York City

Trish Mayo Project: The first stages of Trish’s Dyckman Beech Tree Project.  To represent the active growth years of the tree she will be using different yarns: the bright green of spring, a darker green for the mature leaves of summer, the colors of autumn and frost/snow covered white leaves.  The leaves will show the change of seasons as well as the progression of time.
